Since you accepted the magazine, does that mean she will make a return visit to discuss it with you? I heard (3rd hand) a story about my brother in law, taking my niece to a door while out in FS. The woman answered the door and immediately became irate. She pointed her finger at my 11 year old niece, and told her to "Go back to the car, RIGHT NOW!!!" After my niece walked to the car, the woman laid into my brother in law, about how he should be ASHAMED of himself, bringing a CHILD out to do this filthy work. Hearing the story (from my JW mother), I simply said, "It's about time! Someone needs to yell at him! ... and I'll bet he just stood there and took it." hahahaha... There is a lot more to this story, and what my brother in law does to "discipline" and humiliate my niece. I know she will remember this day forever, and hopefully he will also, one day, when he finally decides to leave the false prophet he is serving. That is a long way off, but I am still hoping they will come to their senses. Anyway, just a thought... for anyone who gets a call from someone bringing their young child to the door with them. It had an impact.

FS Visit Today
by Joe Grundy injust received a fs visit - first for several months.
an attractive 'yummy mummy' with (what seemed to me) a strained smile and a very young girl (presumably her daughter) about 9 or 10.. the weather was attrocious, i was distracted, and i failed completely to make any comment or to challenge.
looking at the young girl, particularly, i felt nothing but sympathy.. i accepted a leaflet 'can the dead really live again?

Non-trinitarian: Are you a Jehovah's Witness? They do not believe in the trinity, but they have some other strange beliefs you might also want to research.
www.jwfacts.com is a great place to start. He has done a lot of research into the JW organization, their history, policies and beliefs.

Trinity, Cross, 1914, Jesus, Jehovah, Slave... Service
Church, Bible, God
To name a few. There are more, for sure. I watched my mom's cult persona click on and off the other day, while she was showing me her new bible.
Great book! I am reading that one, too.

Anyone know of any witnesses that concealed carry to meetings?
by LogCon indoes anyone know of any witnesses, in good standing, brother or sisters, that used to conceal carry to meetings or field service?.

Sorry, not Utied States. I meant to say Untied States.
LOL. Good assessment from our neighbor to the north.
I was just making sure you weren't planning anything yourself, and checking to see if the elders were going to be armed. Concealed weapon permits are available here. Your questions makes me wonder again about the upcoming instructions that "do not make sense from a human standpoint..."
We do not have guns at our house (that I will tell you about!!)

Is Jesus dying really more important than his resurrection?
by Band on the Run ini was reading about khs on wikipedia and i noticed a link for the memorial of jesus' death.
why would any christian religion celebrate his death and not his resurrection.
a man dying is fairly common.

Christ told them to "Do this in rememberance of me."
I never thought about how they only celebrate the death. That is a good point. Another thing that was brought to my attention, was the way they put the emblems on a tray and pass them around the room... REJECTING the command Christ gave to eat and drink it.
WHO would be happy to celebrate the death of Christ? WHO do you think is rejoicing, every time a JW thinks he is pleasing "Jehovah" by rejecting the body and blood and sacrifice that Jesus made? WHO is the master of confusion?
The JW memorial ceremony is a Satanic ritual.
I might add, it is by far the creepiest and most depressing thing I've ever seen millions of people get so excited about... inviting all the world to come watch us reject the body and blood of Christ!

About 1914, do they mean "about," as in "somewhere near the time of 1914?"
Or, do they just mean "about," as in "regarding 1914?"
